The grounds for maintenance of cars with uncoupling from the train is the detection of faults by the car inspector based on the results of an on-site inspection.

Repairs are carried out to restore the full or close to full operational life of the car with the repair or replacement of components and parts of the car in accordance with the requirements of the guidelines approved by the Central Administration of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”. It is carried out at intervals of 8 to 17 years (tanks from 4 to 13) depending on the type, type and model of the car.
